Review Policy

My reading genres consist primarily of fantasy and science fiction (usually adult and sometimes young adult and middle grade), but I do venture outside my favorite genres often. I’m a mood reader though, so what I read is at the mercy of how I’m feeling on any given day. Which can make what books I read a bit random.

I’m happy to hear from publishers for review requests and I would be honored to be of any assistance! As I am working and have family obligations, I won’t be able to accept every request, please be aware of that.

I will accept and review galleys/ARCs, finished copies, eBooks, and audiobooks. All reviews will be my honest opinions and, whether positive or negative, will be written in a respectful manner.

Reviews will always be posted here and to my goodreads. If I have the time and energy, it will also be posted to my instagram.

I live in the United States, and the various ways I can be reached can be found via the ‘Contact’ page.

I will only be responding to requests that interest me – mostly based on genre.

Genres I Read Most Often:

  • Fantasy
  • Science Fiction
  • Retellings
  • Fairytales
  • Romance (usually only if it’s queer in some way)
  • Mystery/Thriller
  • Horror
  • Comedy
  • I also love anything queer. As someone who is nonbinary and asexual I love seeing more queer identities represented!

I will read other genres if the premise is interesting enough, though I do not read erotica.

My Rating System:

★★★★★ – I absolutely adored this with my whole heart and there was just something about it! I be pushing this into everyone’s face.

★★★★ – I really and truly enjoyed it! There were a couple things I thought could have been improved on, but I’d still recommend this.

★★★ – It was an fun read and I still will probably recommend it to people! But it wasn’t something that really stood out to me.

★★ – I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t enjoy it very much either.

★ – Hated it. Will not be recommended to anyone.

No Stars – Either I don’t feel comfortable giving it a rating for some reason, it wasn’t my cup of tea, or I DNFed it.
